Le Belvédère at Courchevel Moriond

On the far edge of the 3 Vallées ski area, the Courchevel Moriond sector blessed by its geography with maximum sunshine all season long! Wide open boulevards give way to beautiful forest itineraries, all on naturally rolling pistes. Here, make you way to the Belvédère piste, accessed via the lift of the same name, to discover all these joys in a form suitable for beginners !

How to get there from Méribel on the green and blue runs ?

  • Saulire Express's cabins 1 and 2;

  • Go to Pas-du-Lac then switch to the Courchevel side via the blue Creux run;

  • Go down Creux to the Roc Mugnier chairlift in Courchevel;

  • You have arrived in Courchevel Moriond! Go down the blue run Arinondaz then Grange to Belvédère.

Roc de Fer + Raffort to Méribel

The magic of les 3 Vallées is that early intermediate skiers can access summits they never dared dream of and complete long descents they never thought possible. For a taste of this magic, head to the summit of Roc de Fer (2,290m) for a breath-taking view (webcam here for a foretaste of what awaits you !). Next, take the blue run of the same name which offers you a sumptuous descent, then a second blue run, Raffort. Ending in the hamlet of the same name, this little-used, winding forest piste is an absolute gem.

How to get there from Méribel on the blues runs ?

  • Legends chairlift 

  • Cherferie chairlift

  • Take the Choucas run

  • Take the Gelinotte run and then the Raffort run

  • Return to Méribel centre via the Olympus cabins from Le Raffort.

Coraïa in Orelle

When you pass from Val Thorens to Orelle, at the other extremity of the ski area, you enter the Maurienne valley. Which is magnificent, to say the very least ! Less frequented than other, more central areas, Orelle has preserved its wild beauty. It’s a paradise for fans of long and almost untouched slopes. This is especially true of Coraïa, the highest piste in les 3 Vallées which starts at the highest point in les 3 Vallées, at 3,230m above ski level. A well-earned pleasure…

  • Switch to the Les Menuires side by the Gros Tougne run

  • Granges chairlift

  • Ski on the red Alouette run

  • Côte Brune chairlift

  • Ski to the centre of Val Thorens on one of the slopes of your choice

  • Take the Caron cabins

  • You are at the top of the 3 Valleys!

  • New ski on the new Orelle Caron run then take the Peyrons and Bouchets chairlifts

Lac noir at les Menuires

Closely associated with the resort it overlooks, la Point de la Masse shouldn’t be missed when you are skiing in the Belleville valley or in les 3 Vallées. And for good reason; this area offers everything a skier could dream of : pistes for all levels, fun zones and legendary off-piste. Expert skiers will naturally want to launch themselves down Lac noir, a black run offering all the sensations of skiing in the high mountains.

  • Switch to the Menuires side and ski on the Gros Tougne blue run then the La Violette green run

  • New in Les Menuires, use the new Pointe de la Masse gondolas and admire this magnificent summit !
