An easy walk to discover the mountains
Every Wednesday, from July 16 to August 13, 2026, the Méribel teams invite you to join a free walk combining discovery, discussion, and environmental awareness.The goal? To understand how a ski area like Méribel fits into its natural environment and how the mountains evolve throughout the seasons.
On the programme:
discovery of Alpine flora and fauna
explanations about mountain landscapes
discussions about the environment and the ski area
anecdotes and observations about nature in summer
introduction to the Environmental Observatory
explanations of regulatory procedures related to development projects
All in a relaxed and accessible atmosphere, even for occasional walkers.
A summer activity accessible to everyone in Méribel
No need to be an experienced hiker to take part!
This educational walk is open to the public from age 12 and follows an easy trail of around 3 kilometres with 170 metres of elevation gain. An ideal outing to enjoy a breath of fresh air while learning more about the mountains.
Minors must simply be accompanied by an adult.

đ Time: from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
đ„ Limited to 20 participants
â Free activity with registration required by the day before
đ Recommended equipment: walking shoes, water, sunglasses, and sun protection
â Activity may be postponed to the afternoon (2:00 p.m. â 4:00 p.m.) in case of bad weather
