Start at la Chaudanne, at the heart of Méribel. Head to the east-facing side of the valley by taking the new Legends chairlift, named after the champion female skiers who left their mark our valley. No need to remove your gloves to be photographed on this lift: a photo is taken automatically. All you have to do is pose and collect your photo from the terminal at the top!
Take the new Cherferie chairlift and then the delightfully varied Choucas piste (blue). Take the Cherferie once again and then the Blaireau piste (red) which leads you to the Tougnète chairlift.
Having enjoyed the morning sunshine in this sector, now take the Dahu (red) and Martre (blue) to reach Méribel-Mottaret. It’s time to make the most of the head of the valley…
You really shouldn’t miss the valley’s legendary summit, le Mont-Vallon, which rises to 2,952m and offers you an incredible view over the surrounding mountains and glaciers. It offers you a taste of the high mountains, on skis! To get here, simply take the Plattières and Mont Vallon gondola lifts, beforeenjoying the Combe du Vallon piste (red).
Return to Méribel Centre via the Ours piste (green) which overlooks the Tuéda Nature Reserve, then la Truite (green). Now you will be skiing on the other side of the valley which enjoys sunshine all afternoon. Head for the summit of Saulire via the Express 1 & 2 lifts. At the top, get out your ski pass to use the Photo Spot for another memorable photo with views over the Méribel valley.
Now take the Biche piste (blue) and make use of the Saulire relaxation chalet and its terrace, ideal for a picnic. Make your way to the Altiport sector and the Inuit piste for a taste of the Far North and take a break midway at the themed village.
At the bottom, continue along the Lapin piste (blue) which gently winds through the trees. This little-used run will take you to Méribel Village, then take the Golf, Altiport and Loze chairlifts. Welcome to the summit of Col de la Loze! The Altai Dragon piste is highly recommended as your descent! Now simply ski down the Blanchot (green) and Doron (blue) to return to Méribel after a perfect day in the heart of les 3 Vallées…
